Missouri REALTORS® Relief Foundation

The Missouri REALTORS® Relief Foundation (MRRF) was established to provide relief to members affected by natural or man-made caused disasters that result in damages impacting their ability to enjoy the fruits of the real property ownership, or their ability to practice their trade. Since 2014, the Missouri REALTORS® Relief Foundation has provided nearly $400,000 in funds to REALTORS® who have been affected by natural disasters.

REALTORS® Offering $500,000 to Missourians Impacted by Tornadoes

In collaboration with the National Association of REALTORS® Relief Foundation, the Missouri REALTORS® Relief Foundation is proud to make $500,000 available to Missourians impacted by the tornadoes that swept across much of Missouri between March 14-15, 2025, and again, on April 2, 2025 (collectively referred to as the “Disaster” for purposes of this grant program). This program is also supported by the members of these local REALTOR® associations, representing the communities hardest hit by this Disaster: Bootheel Regional Board of REALTORS®, Franklin County Board of REALTORS®, Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS®, Jefferson City Area Board of REALTORS®, Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS®, Lake of the Ozarks Board of REALTORS®, Lebanon Board of REALTORS®, Mineral Area Board of REALTORS®, Ozark Trail Board of REALTORS®, Pulaski County Board of REALTORS®, South Central Board of REALTORS®, Southeast Missouri REALTORS®, Southern Gateway Association of REALTORS®, St. Louis REALTORS®, Three Rivers Board of REALTORS®, and the West Central Association of REALTORS®.

This is a grant program offering financial assistance to qualified applicants towards one of the following options: 1) One month's mortgage expense for the occupied primary residence that was damaged by the Disaster; 2) Temporary rental cost due to displacement from the occupied primary residence resulting from the Disaster; or, 3) Reimbursement of paid hotel expenses due to displacement from the occupied primary residence resulting from the Disaster.

Grants are limited to a maximum of $1,000 per household. Deadline for grant submission is May 31, 2025. Please note this is for housing assistance only; other expenses are ineligible for reimbursement under this program. Additional details are available on the application.

To provide for a reasonable and equitable distribution of grant funds, assistance will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. All grants are contingent upon the availability of funds provided by the National Association of REALTORS® Relief Foundation for this initiative, or additional funds as may be approved by the Missouri REALTORS® Relief Foundation. If approved, grants will be payable to applicants directly via check. We are unable to provide funds via online apps or with cash.

Turnaround time on applications may take 3-4 weeks. PLEASE review the application for the required documentation and supply all required information at the time of submission. If you do not, it will significantly increase the time it takes to process your application and disburse funds.

Inquiries may be directed to Missouri REALTORS® at missourirealtors@morealtor.com or 573-445-8400.

Again, this grant program is for housing assistance only.
