REALTORS® Offering $500,000 to Missourians Impacted by Tornadoes
In collaboration with the National Association of REALTORS® Relief Foundation, the Missouri REALTORS® Relief Foundation is proud to make $500,000 available to Missourians impacted by the tornadoes that swept across much of Missouri between March 14-15, 2025, and again, on April 2, 2025 (collectively referred to as the “Disaster” for purposes of this grant program). This program is also supported by the members of these local REALTOR® associations, representing the communities hardest hit by this Disaster: Bootheel Regional Board of REALTORS®, Franklin County Board of REALTORS®, Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS®, Jefferson City Area Board of REALTORS®, Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS®, Lake of the Ozarks Board of REALTORS®, Lebanon Board of REALTORS®, Mineral Area Board of REALTORS®, Ozark Trail Board of REALTORS®, Pulaski County Board of REALTORS®, South Central Board of REALTORS®, Southeast Missouri REALTORS®, Southern Gateway Association of REALTORS®, St. Louis REALTORS®, Three Rivers Board of REALTORS®, and the West Central Association of REALTORS®.
This is a grant program offering financial assistance to qualified applicants towards one of the following options: 1) One month's mortgage expense for the occupied primary residence that was damaged by the Disaster; 2) Temporary rental cost due to displacement from the occupied primary residence resulting from the Disaster; or, 3) Reimbursement of paid hotel expenses due to displacement from the occupied primary residence resulting from the Disaster.
Grants are limited to a maximum of $1,000 per household. Deadline for grant submission is May 31, 2025. Please note this is for housing assistance only; other expenses are ineligible for reimbursement under this program. Additional details are available on the application.
