Diversity & Inclusion

Graphic image that says Diversity and Inclusion

Through the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, Missouri REALTORS® seeks to promote the growth and development of a diverse and inclusive environment, and a culture of belonging that is beneficial to all members. While these initiatives are key to the Missouri REALTORS® Strategic Plan, they are also rooted in the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics; through which, all REALTORS® commit to treating all clients equally, no matter their race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity. The Code of Ethics mirrors much of the language in the federal Fair Housing Act of 1968, a topic which is rightfully part of most discussions around diversity and inclusion. Our hope is that the resources provided below will benefit your work with fellow REALTORS® and community leaders, as well as buyers and sellers from a multitude of backgrounds.

Faces of Missouri Real Estate Video Project

Missouri REALTORS® are asked to share their stories on the Video Vault about how and why they got into real estate, note any obstacles they’ve faced to establish their business, and tips to help others succeed. The purpose is to show that real estate is a career and industry open to anyone, while providing valuable information to all members. If you’re not familiar with the Video Vault, it was created a few years ago for members to find and share tips, ideas and practices to improve the business and practice of real estate across Missouri. It’s a members-only resource you can access here.
