Missouri REALTORS® is excited to announce the return of in-person Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) courses with brand new curriculum! There are no prerequisites for GRI Module II. Students can take any of the GRI courses and modules in any order. Earn CE credits and level up your skills!

GRI 201: Buyer Representation Mastery

Description: Providing exceptional service to buyers throughout the home-buying process is paramount in building a successful and satisfying career. In this intensive class, you will gain comprehensive insights and practical skills to guide buyers from their initial appointment to a successful closing, while nurturing post-closing relationships for long-term success.

GRI 202: Seller Representation Mastery

Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Description: This course covers the essential topics related to working with sellers and listings, providing a comprehensive overview for real estate professionals seeking to enhance their expertise in this crucial area of their practice. From generating seller leads to successfully closing deals, participants will learn best practices, strategies, and techniques to excel in acquiring listings and successfully working with sellers from start to finish.

GRI 203: Negotiation Strategies & Skills

When: Monday, January 26
Time: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Where: Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS® Learning Center (1310 E Primrose Street, Springfield, MO 65804)
Instructor: Michael Jacques
Description: As a real estate professional, you have a specialized role of advising clients in the negotiation process. In this role, it is critical to be able to identify negotiation personas and to navigate the varying phases of the negotiation process while identifying how to leverage a situation. As a REALTOR® member, you are also guided by the REALTOR® Code of Ethics in the negotiation process. This course explores each of these topics and MORE, providing you with a solid foundation in real estate negotiation.
Missouri CE: 3 Elective Hours

  • General Price: $100/course
  • GRI Designee Price: $50/course (Members who already have their GRI Designation.)
  • Package Price: $200/registers for entire GRI Module II
  • If you register for the GRI Module II Package or register for both GRI 202 & GRI 203, you will receive a box lunch. 
  • All paid registration fees are final. Refunds will not be issued for these classes.

I have been a licensed Realtor in St Louis for more than 16 years.  I have experience in residential real estate, investment real estate, leasing, rehabbing, home staging, and interior decorating.  I have taught the 48-hour Pre-Exam Real Estate Licensing Course, tutored prospective real estate agent students online, and taught real estate courses at a local college in the Adult Community Continuing Education program. 

With two teenage daughters in the home, a mother and mother-in-law in the same city, and experience successfully teaching middle school for five years before becoming a REALTOR® in 2007, Michael knows well the necessity of having good negotiation skills. Whether for your business or personal survival, anyone can benefit from investing time in honing their negotiation skills!
