Danielle Grimelli is a Market Analyst for CoStar Group, providing analysis and insight on commercial real estate and economic trends for Kansas City and St. Louis metropolitan areas. She also covers Des Moines, Omaha, Madison, Sheboygan, and Janesville-Beloit. Having joined CoStar Group as a Research Associate and serving as News Editor for Southwest Florida, Danielle subsequently joined the CoStar Market Analytics team. She graduated cum laude, with dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Psychology from Northern Illinois University. Danielle is a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society and a United States Army veteran.

Patrick Klein became Director of Aviation for the Kansas City Aviation Department June 1, 2016. In this role Klein oversees all aspects of the management, development, operation and maintenance of Kansas City International Airport and Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport. Klein is responsible for 550 employees and annual revenues of over $100 million. 

Klein has worked for the City of Kansas City, Missouri, for nearly 20 years, serving in a variety of management roles, and is well-positioned to step into this new position. Since 2013 Klein has worked with groups which have been studying future options for terminal modernization. This includes the mayor’s Airport Terminal Advisory Group, and the Airport Leadership Committee. Klein is familiar with all aspects of the airport’s operation and has worked extensively with Aviation Department staff. 

Klein earned his bachelor’s degree from K-State and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Timothy L. O'Byrne

Tim O’Byrne lives in several western states, travels frequently and considers himself a citizen of the world. He has been involved in, developed or owned well over $1B in commercial real estate focused in the hospitality industry. He has been the CEO of Inland Pacific Companies, a collection of family real estate and investment companies (“IPC”), for over 30 years. Tim, through an affiliate of IPC, is currently developing (along with many other ventures) an 800-room Loews Kansas City Convention Center hotel in partnership with Loews and the City of Kansas City, MO.

Tim has always loved education and strongly believes education solves many societal issues. He has focused his philanthropic energy furthering education for those less fortunate. His educational background includes a B.S. in Finance/Real Estate from Colorado State University in 1986, with honors, where he attended on a football scholarship (thereafter he was briefly with the St. Louis Football Cardinals of the NFL). After his short professional football career, he attended Law School at the University of Oregon, graduating in the top of his law school class earning the distinguished Order of the Coif and Dean’s Medal awards. He is a member of both the Oregon and Colorado State Bar Associations and had a distinguished legal career before joining the family development business which his father started in the 1960’s.

Tim’s sons have joined the business and the family team works together to find, operate, and reposition hotels across the country. Tim specializes in large, complex, public-private transactions and developments and is the go to guy for transactions others seem to not be able to get done.

Steve Foutch has been in the architectural field for his entire career, starting out constructing grain elevators with his brother while still in college, designing hospitals for Hansen Lind Meyer in Iowa City and then moving to Chicago where he was outsourced from The Environments Group to lead the Master Planning efforts at Ameritech. Sprint brought him to Kansas City, but his architectural career as a Partner with Gastinger Walker Harden Architects began his journey into Development. The earlier brother partnership was clearly a successful one and eventually led to the founding of Foutch Brothers in 2004. Now all three brothers have combined their experience with nearly 200 employees to become a recognized name in the historic renovation industry.
